Gwyneth Paltrow says ex Chris Martin joined her for Maldives honeymoon with Brad Falchuk
The actress and the Coldplay frontman have remained good friends following their break-up in 2014 after 10 years of marriage
If Gwyneth Paltrow and ex Chris Martin are anything to go by, it seems "conscious uncoupling" might actually be the best way to go through a break-up.
Not only have the stars remained amicable following their split in 2014, the actress has now revealed the Coldplay frontman even joined her for her honeymoon with new husband Brad Falchuk.
Martin, who is now in a relationship with actress Dakota Johnson, joined the couple for a family break in the Maldives over Christmas, Paltrow told US talk show Live With Kelly And Ryan.
"We had a big family honeymoon over Christmas," said the star. "My new husband, and his children, my children, my ex-husband, our best family friends.
"A very modern honeymoon."
"It was great, we had such a good time," she added.
The star posted several pictures from her honeymoon on Instagram, including this post below, but none featuring Martin.
Johnson also joined them for the trip, according to reports in the US, although Paltrow did not mention her in the interview.
Paltrow and Martin separated in 2014 after 10 years of marriage and were widely mocked for describing the split as a "conscious uncoupling".
The pair are parents to daughter Apple, 14, and Moses, 12.
Paltrow, who is best known for her roles in Iron Man and Shakespeare In Love, as well as her lifestyle brand, Goop, has spoken about their amicable relationship before, and posted this picture of Martin and Falchuk last year.
"We just wanted to minimise the pain for the kids," she said in her Live With Kelly And Ryan interview.
"They just want to see their parents around a dinner table, basically, so we try to keep that."
